A body piercing is not complete immediately after you get pierced.
You must also care for your piercing until it has finished healing.
There is no point in getting pierced if it always has problems, never heals and leaves a big scar.
In order to heal, a good piercing needs
・Appropriate high quality jewellery
・An experienced professional Body Piercer
・Good aftercare instructions
Do not get the cheapest piercing you can find – you will generally get what you pay for.
Do not make an important decision regarding your health based on price and whim.
Body piercings are not like buying clothes or shoes.
Find a studio and piercer you are truly happy with, think about what you want and discuss with your piercer the suitability of this piercing for you.
I DO NOT use piercing guns!
Piercing guns cannot be sterilised – putting your health at risk! They do a lot of damage to the tissue.
I use the highest quality internally threaded jewellery from companies that I trust and am proud to use.
This jewellery is made of implant grade stainless steel ( ASTM F-138 ),
implant grade titanium ( ATSM F-136 ),
niobium,
18ct solid gold or glass.
I sterilise all tools and jewellery ( including gauze and other disposable products ) by chamber autoclave or Statim cassette autoclave.
I like to approach every client as though it is their first piercing.
Even if I have performed that piercing hundreds of times before, it is important to be sensitive to each person’s needs.
I believe in treating my clients the same way that I would want to be treated.
Every client is provided with detailed written instructions, of which I will talk though with them at the time of the piercing.
My contact information is also available for any future questions.
I reserve the right to refuse service on any individuals in less than ideal situations, Any person under the influence of drugs or alcohol and any person who requires removing their jewellery ( eg for school, work or sport ) before their piercing is healed.
